Changed transmission fluid and filter now when I put truck in drive or any other gear it slams and kills engine this is a automatic transmission can this be The modulator or is this something the toque converter would do.

Your car has 180K on it. You never should have changed the fluid. I have seen many cars drive into the shop for trans fluid change and not drive back out. The sludge is what was holding it together. You're likely looking at a rebuild now.

I forgot to mention this is a rebuild just put in was on test drive when happend

So, I guess the rebuilder will be taking it apart again to see what he messed up.
