99 acura cl 3.0 had no 2nd gear. Replaced 2nd gear clutch pressure switch no fix, rebuilt ttransmission. Clutches in 2nd gear drum were gone. Replaced clutches, vehicle will drive great except no change. No 2nd gear. Pull the gear selector to any gear and drive. Pull it right into 2nd and within 20 seconds it releases 2nd gear. Checked shift solenoid b and c all appears fine ohms at 15.9 and here clicking when power to solenoid. What could be causing this.

Yes before I started.
P1738-2nd gear clutch pressure switch
P1739 3rd gear. ". ". "
P1740 4th gear. ". ". "
P0730- shift malfunction B
* shift solenoid A or D stuck Off
* shift solenoid B stuck on shift valves A/B/D stuck

From park to 1, 3, or 4 trans holds firm. Go from park to 2 and it holds for 5 seconds.
Go down highway skip second into 3rd car runs great.

I tried ohms to check continuity. I believe I have it. What else would cause 2nd gear to engage and then release?
