Traction control light OFF

Traction OFF light lites at 15 and 28 mph. Checked, rechecked and checked again and I still can't find the problem. BUT if I slightly depress the brake pedal until AFTER 30mph, I don't get the traction OFF light. It stays off until I come to a stop to take off again. So this knocks out brake controller, PCM, fuses, and wiring. Next comes match and fuel!

Scan code #74, PMV short or short to ground. Have no codes when brake pedal is depressed to 30 mph.

The traction control module is incorporated into the as module.

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The pressure switch monitors primary brake system pressure. The normally closed switch opens when the brakes are applied and pressure exceeds 700 kPa (101 psi). If the brakes are manually applied during traction control mode, the PMV pressure switch input, along with the brake switch input, signal the EBTCM to disable traction control and allow manual braking. The pressure switch is part of the pressure modulator valve (PMV) assembly and is not serviceable.

FAILURE CONDITIONS
DTC 74 sets when the EBTCM detects an open or short to ground in the PMV pressure switch circuitry.

Possible Causes

Open in CKT 853 or 1659.
Short to ground in CKT 1659 with the brakes applied.
Failed PMV pressure switch.
