Car stalls while driving

My daughter has a 1993 toyota tercel, mileage is 134,000, it is a 4 cylinder, in line, 4 cycle. After driving a few minutes, when she comes to a stop, or slows way down, it will idle real low, and stall. It'll crank but will not fire until 5 or 10 minutes have elapsed. We changed the plugs, plug wires, and distributor. Any ideas? Thanks much.

Check the EGR valve and its VSV solenoid whether its getting vacuum and transferring it to the EGR.
