1997 Toyota Tercel 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 159000 miles
When I was adding oil to my engine, I noticed a bolt between the engine and the belt assembly sticking out 4 or 5 inches past the belt assembly. It didn't look right and was rubbing against a hose. The mechanic said it had "just worked itself loose" and tighened it back up. I'm concerned it might indicate a more serious problem, or that someone has been tampering with my car.
