Toyota Tercel Noise Problem
Ok this little Toyota Tercel is a 1995, 136,000 miles on it, 4 cylinder and 4 speed. It is my work car and only is asked to do around 5 to 10 miles a day, 2 or 3 of which is highway.
The issue is a increasingly bad "rattling" or "knocking" noise when at high RPM, or when letting up on the accellerator. At high speeds it seems to miss or sputter at around or above 65mph.
Are we talking a death knock or what, any ideas would be great.

Hve you been changing the oil and filter regularly? Short distance driving requires many more oil changes, at least once every 1000 miles or once a montth.
