Problems with acceleration
Transmission problem
1987 Toyota Tercel 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
Hello, i have a 87 tercel hatchback and it has given me several problems, i think involving the transmission. First, I hear a jiggly noise whenever i let off the gas. second, i press the accelerator pedal a certain distance, and the engine fails to give any gas. it does not cut off, but merely cuts the accelreator off. I put some new atf in it and it seemed to fix that problem, but now it makes a scraping noise at about low to mid range rpm's but then sounds normal at higher rpms. if anyone can help that would be great thank you!
