1996 Toyota Tacoma Hard shaking and wobbling

When I am driving and put on my brakes to slow down I feel a strong shake and wobble in the front end. The last time I had this shaking it was a u-joint that litteraly was about to fall apart, but this time I have checked all the u joints in the drive shaft and they are all good. The rotors seem to be good also. I don't know what else I can do to fix this. Any ideas
