I have had a new motor and transmission installed in this car. I now have power steering problems. I have had a new power steering pump installed and a new high pressure line. I still do't have power steering in fact the power steering fluild (automatic transmission fluid) is being pushed out of the power sterring resevior as if there is an extreme ammount of air in the lines. There is an air control valve on the on the p/s pump but ther are no lines attached to valve should there be. What could cause the fuild to forced from the reservior. The guy that worked on the car put one vaccum line on the end of the air contol line in a loop leaving the line where there was no air able to get to the valve.

Hi dominician04,

Thank you for the donation.

The symptom described is due to air being sucked into the pressure system.
Check if the hose from the reservoir to the pump is leaking. The joint at pump for this hose tends to leak when it is not level or the O ring is faulty.
Check for kinked lines which would cause air to be sucked into the system.

The switch with 2 small pipes are for vacumn lines and are for some models to increase the idling rpm when the steering is turned.
