I'm not sure if I have a bad battery or starter. Neither has been replaced since I've owned the car (5 years). I noticed the past month or so that almost every day, the first time I started the truck, my radio stations pre-set had to be re-established. I thought this might be my battery going bad. Now, this morning I turned the key and heard the enging slowly drained to just a clicking noise. Question: Is this a sypmtom of a bad battery or starter?

Well if the battery is charged 12. Volts you may have problem with the starter. Or make someone hit the starter while starting the car if work replace the starter ( starter location ) is under the intake. Will need to remove the intake assy to remove starter
