1996 Toyota Rav4 Vibrating Noise
Noises problem
1996 Toyota Rav4 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
My 96 Toyota Rav4 makes a vibrating noise above 1500 rpm, but I don't feel any vibration. The noise immediately disappears when I let off the accelerator. It also "surges" a little going uphill. I'll feel the engine speed up and looking at the tach it surges about 100 rpm. This only happens in 3rd gear or overdrive.
The timing belt was replaced in August. Transmission rebuilt in September and new TPS installed. I just had the fuel filter replaced.
