1996 Toyota Rav4 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 760000 miles
I have a 96 rav where the RPM only go to 2400 before looses bogging down. received a code of malfunction of t6he crank position sencer.. will this code create this sort of problem.

yes, and is quite common, just replace it and you should be just fine.
