the thermostat housing is located at the front of the engine at the water pump. Just to the left of the oil filter as you look at it from the front of the vehicle. Kind of underneath the passenger side of vehicle. You will see a large radiator hose coming from the front of the vehicle. There are two 12 mm bolts holdint the housing to the water pump. Be carefull. A lot of coolant will poor out even after pulling radiator drain plug.
