1984 toyota pickup 2.4 gas 123,000.
I noticed fuel leaking out the carb today and would like to know what to do first? I just got the motorhome and it drove fine 40 miles home. I sprayed carb cleaner on the carb from the top as it was starting kinda hard to hopefully clean it and the next am the leak was apparent. I did not see it before this. I am way out in the country and will try to do the work myself. I have not removed the air cleaner all the way to really see the problem.

Sir or Madam

Could be the float needle valve or the float is punctured causing it to overflow in the fuel bowl.

Probably needs the upper airhorn bolts tighten. Might be loose.

If you have to spray it in order for it to start-check the accelerator pump, pull the throttle back if there's no fuel being squirt you have a proble m with acc. pump.

Good Luck
