I have a 91 toyota pickup with the 3.0 v6 I just bought the truck and when I bought it it did not smoke a bit. I changed oil and filter, fuel filter, and plugs and wires and shortly after it started smoking terrible. The guy I bought it from said he had to replace the EGR valve because it was smoking really bad and it had not smoked since. Is it possible that valve needs to be replaced again or could it be something else? It smokes really bad when its started and clears up some when driving but not a whole lot any ideas what I should do please help.

What color is the smoke? Or where is it smoking at.

The EGR valve has nothing to do with it smoking
