1978 Toyota Pickup starter solenoid
where is the starter solenoid located? bought a replacement but don't see the same thing in the engine compartment. am i looking for the wrong thing?

The starter solenoid is part of the starter itself where the little wire hooks up to activate the starter-You sure you're not talking about a starter relay
