Engine Performance problem
1994 Toyota Paseo 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 185000 miles
i was cleaning my carburetor with carb spray. It had alot of black gunk built up. I then wiped it out and put the air hose back on. It know idles at 2000. Why would cleaning the carb adjust the idle speed? I made no adjustments, all I did was spray and wipe. Should I adjust the carb and how exactly do I do that?

You sure you have a carbuerator or a throttle body injection system
Clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens
