1989 2.0 litre Camry (carbi model)

A couple of days ago it just stopped without warning. Now it will not idle or drive for more than about 30 seconds without stopping.

Sounds fine while running, but just keeps stopping! Restarts without any issue.

Have replaced coil and sparks. The problem seems to be worse after the coil replacement. "Charge" light is now on. This was only noticed after the coil replacement, but may have been there previously.

Thoughts on what this problem may be would be appreicated.
