1998 Other Toyota Models Engine stalls

My diesel Tayota Surf 2L-T, occationally stalls during idle run but runs smooth beyond 1000 rpm. Please help!

Hi there,

These are an electronically controlled injection system, I would first run a scan to test for any unresolved fault codes, also are the any signs of fuel leaking at the injector pump?
