1985 Other Toyota Models Stall at idle and no break power.

My van just started playing up. As i let the revs drop when in first it stalls and there is no power to the breaks even when running. I'm thinking this is electrical but am unsure where to start. I am hoping i can repair this myself but am not sure what i'm repairing.
