1996 Toyota MR2 no spark
hi still need help please cannot get a spark after distrbutar theres a nice spark from the coil going into the cap then nothing its had new cap rotor arm leads and a second hand distr still no spark is there a common deeper problem like the ecu going down on these its a 2.0 16 valve sw 20 any help to get me back on the road would be very mutch welcomed

Two things can happen either the rotor is not turning inside the distributor or the rotor has a hole sending spark directly to ground.
If you have spark from the coil it should coming out to the spark plugs.
