1998 Toyota Landcruiser V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 75000 miles
Let me first apologize the information may not be completely accurate. A friend of mine took his truck into the Toyota dealer for an oil change and they told him it is imperative he replace the carburator. I spoke with a friend of mine (from a family of mechanics) and the fact that they mentioned carburator on such a late model and the exorbatent price took him by surprise. Forgive my ignorance but do late model LandCruisers require carburators or did they improve the design so only fuel injectors are required?
