2001 Toyota Highlander 79000 miles

About 1,000 miles after having my oil changed this summer, the VSC, TEAC OFF and Check Eng lights came on. I took the car to the dealership and after l minute they announced my car ready to go. I was told that some sensor(s) had not been reset by the oil change service folks. I just had my oil changed again (by the same group) and the problem has surfaced again. Remembering too late that the dealership had told me to remind the oil change group, I wasn't surprised to see the lights come back on again. I went back to the oil change place and they didn't know what I was talking about. I guess now I need to go back to the dealership. What is the problem?

Having your check engine light come on after having you oil changed at any oil change company (Valvoline, Jiffy, Midas, etc.) Is a common problem for my 2001 Highlander. I now ask if they have reattached all the vacuum/air hoses? After changing the oil. I think it has something to do with them checking the air filter and not reattaching certain hoses. I will say that I submitted my bill from my Toyota Dealer to Jiffy and they reimbursed me. Hope this helps.
