Electrical problem
1968 Toyota FJ-40 V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 100 miles

Hi,

I have a 1968 Toyota landcruiser. I purchased with most of the restoration done. The tub was put on a K-5 Blazer frame to widen its base, unfortunately in doing this the transmission mounting was offset. The problem I have is that the Instrument cluster will not work, only light up, all gauges are inactive due to the speedo cables inability to reach the the original tranny's new position. Can I splice an identical speedo cable into mine to increase its overall length? Is it posiible? Or what alternative might I seek out to get an active speedometer cluster? Thanks!
