Hi,
my car has an engine check bulb and it lights up on some occasions for example when going up a hill.
the car has poor accelaration. When I press the gas pedal, the car doesnt respond instanly.

i think it is from the air flow sensor but I need a second opinion from you guys.

thanks for your help, and keep up the good work.

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, bogging etc. Could be caused by one of the following below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard

I checked and changed all oils and filters fom the car. I just made a service. But the problem still remains ( poor accelaration and engine not responsive and poor idle. The check engine light will light up randomly esspecially when I go up a hill.
My mechanick told me that the problem is probably coming from the air flow sensor, and it needs to be replaced.
What do you think?

Thanks again
