2001 Toyota Corona Accelleration problems

2001 Toyota Corona Front Wheel Drive Automatic 66000 miles
my car has a problem with accelration.sometimes it works just fine but at times when you step on the gas,it doesnt move.it seems like it is stuck somewhere.I have chabged my spark plugs but the problem persists.Help
