I just had another engine installled in my 96 toyota corolla which is a 1.8 engine (same as other) and this new engine has under 60,000 miles. The compression and everything tests well with new engine, however when it cranks upit only runs less than a minute and the engine shutdowns or cuts off. Also at the same time the doors locks proceed to pop up and down. Im baffled does anybody know what maybe going on. Ps this engine was purchased from unitext, which could be a japenese imported engine.
