'94 brake problems
What causes the pulsing and vibrating of the brake pedal when braking, there is also a crunching noise?

Dear Corolla,
Sounds like the rotors are warped and need replacing. As far as the crunching noise the brake pads are most likely worn down to the metal and also need replacing.
