Cooling system

Hi, I have a 1985 Corolla FX-GT 1600 (done 200,000kms) which has coolant leaking from behind one of the flywheels (or cog, or pully) below the cam belt cover. I can see the water leaking from behind the fly wheel when I look through the wheel arch. The water is a muddy brown color. I hope it is as simple as replacing a seal. Thank you. Mark

AS I remember, the water pump is cam belt driven. It sounds like a bad water pump. Also you will need a new timing belt and a tensioner if that is the case. Good Luck
