check engine light

one thing i would recomend would be to start small check all of your fluids if thats not the case go to your local autoparts store and pick up a manual for that modle and year ask them for a code key. they normaly supply them for free, follow the manual on were to insert the key into the cars computer relay and follow the manuel. the engine light will flash giving a code. refrence that to the code list in the manual and that should lead you to your problem. the people at the auto part store should beable to direct you on how to do this.
