I have a 1994 Corolla with 260,000 miles. It starts fine, and runs well. The other day, it just wouldn't shift out of park.I depressed the brake pedal, I squeezed the switch on the shifter, and it just won't shift.I've had it for 12 years, and never had any trouble like this before.I would really appreciate any advice.

It is possible the parking pawl is jammed or the shift cable is out of adjustment/broke or the cable hold down clip is broke or the cable bolt to the transmission is loose.
