I have a 1993 Toyota Corolla LX. it is fully Automatic. When driving without the AC on the gear changes faster and the car is able to attain spedds quicker but as soon as the AC is turned on it slows it down. Can anyone please advise me before i send it to the workshop for repairs. i am in Ghana.

2. on very hot days or when the car is in trffic the AC does not chill as it is suppoe to do but rather begins to blow hot air what can be the cause. I have changed the fan as recommeded by my AC repairer but still the issue exist.
