Is there such thing as putting too much oil in a car that would possibly make the engine freeze up?

Hi there,

you would just about have to fill the engine up to the rocker cover to stop it from turning, I would be thinking it may have seized due to lack of lubrication, some more information would be helpful to determine the cause of you problem.
