Hello everybody

I bought this corolla 1300cc, 1999 model with 85K miles on it. Runs fine but the vibrations at certain low RPM causes displeasure.

Is it engine mounts? OR something else?

I feel the vibrations when the car is stopped in neutral/gear at IDLE and between 2000 and 3000 RPM and also at the same RPM when it is running. The vibrations are also obvious at the gas pedal.

Check the motor and transmission mounts, they wear with age and can loosen/collapse.

Raise car, put on stands.

Use large screwdriver to pry between mounts and motor, you can tell if they have excessive movement.
