1997 Toyota Corolla Heater not heating/O/D light doesn't co

2 issues.
O/D light doesn't come on but O/D does work
heater just has luke warm heat coming out of it never gets hot

1. Light (LED) is probably burnt out.
2. Sounds like a thermostat, but check coolant level.
I would replace the thermostat with a Toyota part.
I would also flush the cooling system while you are at it.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
