I have a 1991 Toyota Corolla DX, 4 cylinder engine, that all of a sudden stopped working. To be more specific, it was working one day, then the next day as I tried to start it, nothing happened. I tried jump starting it, and that did nothing. The battery is giving off plenty of voltage, but I get absolutely no turn over in the engine. Not a sound. I recognize the usual sound of a bad starter, and there is none of that. I know the sound of a dead battery, and there is none of that. That is my question. What would cause it to not make ANY sounds at all? Is there some type of fuse that governs the ignition?
