1991 Toyota Corolla Repair Question

- brakes calipers
Hello, I have a 1991 Toyota Corolla with 144,500 miles on it. My husband replaced the Brakes Calipers (front left and right) yesterday because car was kinda shaking when I brakes. But the brakes is firm and it brakes good but car shakes a little bit. So yesterday he replaced the calipers now the brakes are not working.
We tried to bleed the brakes, I pump the brakes 2 or 3 times to let the air out then he tightens the screws. We did it several times but still not working, prior to replacing the calipers, that the brakes were working except for the little shaking.
I appreciate any advise. Thanks.
