1990 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Automatic 208750 miles

I heard a squeel like a belt was slipping and suddenly my alternator belt broke. I replaced the belt, started the car and it ran fine for 30 sec. Then I hear the same sound and noticed a pully wobble. The pulley is linked to the power steering pump and seems to have another function other than running the power steering pump. What is this?

The alt. Runs around the WP pulley and balancer. The WP is bad or the balancer is loose, broke. The WP pulley is bolted on with 4 bolts, but the bearing in the WP may be bad.
