Coolant Change

I am preparing to change the coolant in my 02 celica GT. 1.8 Liter 4 cly, manual trans, 25000 Miles

Where exactly is the engine block drain plug. Be as specific as practical, I have looked and can only find one of the heater hoses connected directly to the block. Is this the drain point?Seems a bit "high up" on the block to be a drain point. I would like to get ALL the old coolant out because I am changing the coolant manufacture.

Thanks

Al

You should look into a flush kit, keep in mind that when you change your coolant you should run fresh water to cleen out everything inside. You can do this with out the flush kit just takes a little more time. Find your lower radiator hose (carefull not to do this when the car is hot) take one side of and drain, reattach add your flush chemical, follow directions of flush kit, drain again, and then add your new coolant. So you dont need to find a drain plug on engine.
Hope that helps.
