Toyota Camry Repair Question

Rear end bumping thumping noise
II have a 2005 toyota camry..I purchased it used. I have had it for 3 months...and now I hear a thumping noise that is annoying. I hear it over bumps in the streets and it is not the tires. It sounds like my door is not shut all the way and its only on the right side. I have 48000 mile 4 cylinder, 2005 camry. Help. I took it in and they said nothing is wrong, but i know that sound is not right.

Jounce the back end of the car aggressively and listen for the source. I'm sure you have ruled out the spare tire area and the trunk for anything moving around. Maybe exhaust, rear stabilzer links if equipped.
