Best idea is to get a Haynes manual for the repair. Generally you have to take the inside panel off to get to the outside door handle. Could be a loose bolt but generally they are plastic housings that crack and must be replaced. You can try to repair it with an epoxy glue, but you need to know the type of plactic to get the correct epoxy.
