My camry has 78000 miles on it, and I recently got a transmission trouble code. CODE P0773 but the check engine light went out. The car drives fine. Will I be ok if just LEAVE IT ALONE?

PO773 is a shift solonoid code. If the tranny is shifing OK leave it alone. At 78K I suggest you servcie the transmission and add some Slick 50 additive. The solonoids are not serviced but replaced. Give the change a try.

Hi. At 58K miles I replaced the tranny fluid (with mobil-1 full synthetic). When a check engine light comes on, is there a set time for it to go off? Or does it quict when it doesn't sense the problem anymore. Thats why I asked if I should leave it. I love my camry, so if I notice anything different about the shifting, then I will get it replaced. I still feel fortunate, compared to all the problems that my brother has had with his chevy. Thanks for your time guys!
