Fuel economy

I HAVE A 1991 TOYOTA CAMRY V6 AUTOMATIC
WITH 145,000 MILES IT RUNS GREAT
BUT IS GUZZLING TOO MUCH GAS
IS THAT NORMAL FOR THIS MODEL?
I'VE ALREADY CHANGED OUT THE
FUEL FILTER, SPARK PLUGS, PVC VALVE
AIR FILTER AND IT DOESN'T SEEM TO
HELP I WAS THINKING THAT MAYBE
THE FUEL GAUGE WAS OFF BUT I'M
NOT SURE WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

It won't hurt to change the oxygen sensors and have the fuel injection system clean-out. BTW its 16yr old. Remember a lot can guzzle the gas such as wheel alignment/brake/suspension/transmission problems and bad driving habits the roadrunner type--
