I have a 1996 Toyota Camry that my fiance gave me three months ago. Recently I have been trying to start it and put the key in and it wont turn at all. The wheel turned but no matter what the key will not turn. The battery works and theres gas in it, but the key wont turn. I dont know it if this is a problem with the ignition or the key. What might be some problems with it?

Yes, also often on these toyotas the shift linkage comes out of adjustment after much use, and the selector lever will be out of sync with the rest of the interlock system, a simple adjustment, but requires a basic knowledge of this system, try jiggling the shift lever while turning the key, and pressing the brake, this sometimes works
