You are not alone. I have the same problem with my 2001 Camry. I have put 5 different compressors on it and it works for a while then the a/c light blinks and the A?C shuts off. At other times it works fine w/o problems. I took it to the dealership and they want to put a new computer control on it to the cost of $1200 with no guarantee of it working. I am at a loss. I hope someone can provide a solution.
