1998 Toyota Camry gas tank access door
Electrical problem
1998 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 98500 miles
98 camery LE: When accessing door to fuel tank with interior latch door does not release open. When cable removed to check if it is working properly. It works fine. (Door does not spring open, except if latch is held in up position, and someone else access door at sametime)

There is a little "V" shaped spring clip in there that can be bent to give it more pressure to spring open.
