1998 Toyota Camry dashboard rear taillight warning light
The orange car warning light with the taillights lit stays on all the time if you have your lights on. If your lights are not on it comes on the first time you hit the brakes and stays on unless you tap the brake pedal lightly and then the light stays off until you touch the brake pedal again. I have replaced all the bulbs in the rear and nothing changed. After doing this I discovered that taping the brake pedal with the lights off would turn the warning light off. I thought the brake light switch may be out of adjustment but it was within specs. Next I replaced it with a new one but nothing changed. HELP! Does anyon have any suggestions?
