Hi,

All of sudden my interior door light stopped working with my remote. Now I have noticed my clock is blinking all the time. I did realize that clock time is not syncing means getting little back as of standard time.

Had install new cell of my remote still no luck. Just a note I had installed battery around three years ago and no problem with starting the car or with front lights.

Need help please!
Ron

Hi ron1111,

Check the dome fuse in under hood fuse box.

If the fuse is bad again, there should be an intermittent shorting somewhere and might not be an easy solution.

Testings would have to be carried out with test lamps and DVOM.

I would get the wiring schematic for you and we can try to work this out.

If you had any repairs or impact damages, check those area first.

The fuse blowing could be due to shorting of any of the list.

I have heard of the trunk wire harness getting caught on the left hand side hinge and that would cause shorting.

I had my dome light short out in the housing. I put. Couple o-rings on the ends of the bulb to keep it from contacting the housing and it fixed it.
