1996 Toyota Camry overheating issue
Engine Cooling problem
1996 Toyota Camry 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
Rad cracked and engine got hot. Replaced rad, overheat again so replaced thermostat. Problem still persists. No obvious leaks to system. Temp is fine, then spikes quickly. Heater works intermitently and coolant gets blown out of the overflow tank. Hoping it's not the head gasket, and would like to know what else to test prior to going down the head gasket replacement route.

Check the water pump if its doing job if okay could be air in it-try bleeding it -if it continous get it block and pressure tested to rule out the headgasket, cracked head or block and an intake leak.
