1996 Toyota Camry Coolant

Just bought a used 96 Camry recently. Yesterday was getting home after driving about 20 miles from destination and park car in my garage. When I got out, I heard a boiling noise under the hood. I opened the hood and discovered that the coolant inside the coolant reserve tank was boiling. However, the temp gage said the car was normal. Is this a indicator of a potential problem with the radiator? Or is it normal?

Sounds like you are low on coolant, if you would have went much longer your indicator probably would have started showing it. If its not your coolant level, check your thermostat.
